NMMA has been a longstanding partner to the RAI since the inception of METSTRADE. Prior to METSTRADE beginning, NMMA provided the RAI with a stand and promotion of the newly conceptualized METSTRADE show at the International Marine Trades Exhibit & Conference (IMTEC) held annualy at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL to support the vision of a global marine equipment trade show.
Returning to METSTRADE in 2022, and with a bigger USA Pavilion following the pandemic, it was so rewarding to see the excitement from our exhibitors and hearing how happy they were to be back in-person to connect face-to-face with global business partners and peers.
The NMMA supports the USA and Canadian Pavilions at METSTRADE annually in service to our member equipment manufacturers. The show continually produces export success for our member companies as evidenced through our growing pavilion participation over the years. The connections made and the professionalism of the show organizers who continue to innovate the opportunities for exhibitors and attendees makes METSTRADE a must-attend event.
The NMMA has hosted a USA Pavilion since the beginning of METSTRADE, followed by the addition of the Canadian Pavilion, and has seen the show evolve with the global industry, in addition to the size of our pavilions. Through good times and down times, our presence has remained constant.
Following the cancellation of the 2020 METSTRADE due to Covid-19 restrictions, trying to get the USA Pavilion back on its feet in 2021 amid continued pandemic disruptions was a huge challenge—and feat. Kudos to the RAI and the METSTRADE teams for navigating vaccination mandates, providing testing onsite, and more to ensure a viable and successful event.
IBEX and METSTRADE continue to align their strategies to expand, evolve, and support marine businesses and the boating industry in both the U.S. and on the world stage.
The Pavilion parties hold such a special place when all of the countries join together on the show floor to celebrate, swap stories and share traditions. The after-parties at Louie’s Bar in Dam Square are also a memory-maker!
